Haha - loved the review!

although the sight of grass or earth or pebbles leads me to disregard any pretence of decorum and stalk over to whichever surface it is, then walk about on it like a cat, while saying "OOoooh, textured!"

ROFL!! I do exactly the same thing! XD I'll be walking along and then spot some neat texture then DART over to stand or walk on it. :D

I do find that walking on asphalt and other hard surfaces for too long hurts my feet a bit, though this is slowly becoming less and less as my arches strengthen. Still, I try to avoid it as much as possible, walking on grass whenever I can. It helps that there are several lawns between me and work so I can avoid a lot of concrete.

I want to get a black/black pair of KSOs for dressier occasions.

Oh, I remembered something about sizing being different for KSOs/Flows vs Sprints/Classics. For KSOs I wear a 40 but in Sprints I'd wear a 41. I tried the KSO 41s I got for Trey and while the sole is the same size as on my 41 Sprints, they were enormous on my feet. This is because the Sprint has this set of straps on the heel that can really make the shoe fit smaller - it also results in having this bulbous bunch of material at the heel. My Sprints fit well but not as constricting as my KSOs. Point being, should you get another pair, get the Sprints one size up and those should fit perfect. Another nice thing about having a looser shoe is the ability to wear the Injinji toe socks with them.

If you need to order another pair, you can have them sent here and I can mail them to you. I think my Aunt Peter has been wanting to send you coffee for yonks. ;)
