Wheesh. I think I've got my essay done. I need to proof it now, which is going to be so much excitment I can barely believe my luck, I haven't however, managed to do my clinical skills sheets, which I'd hoped to get done, but I've not been aided by the pollen count which - well - it's done my eyes no good.

I've finally given in and admitted not only that I have hayfever, but that I actually need to take the systemic tablets, as opposed to escaping with spray/drops. To be fair, my mum gets it *vastly* worse than I do, and so does my sister, I think. My little nephew's got it too, which is really sad :-(

Yeah, so I've been kicking around the house, after the racist abuse thing on Sunday (verbal abuse/threat to property) which I can't really say very much about due to the involvement of the police. Suffice to say despite being at the end of the day really not-very-much it affected me an awful lot. I've never thought of myself as anything other than British (although I claim Welshness (I am half welsh, so that's not entirely unreasonable)). Having someone attack my identity was somewhat of a shock, no one's done that since I was about 10.

So, yeah, I've had a reading week for the purpose of writing this essay, but the first few days I just couldn't really concentrate.

I also had a bit of a shock with my moggie. Rebecca went to have some work done, what with me having done the service I thought 'hey I can afford to get the suspension fixed, and that rear window that's leaking I'll get that done, oh, and that knackered brake pipe, I'll have that replaced'. Thinking, I dunno, about 150ish ukp.

I get down to pick her up and the suspension's given some problems, it's cost 212 ukp for the whole lot (or *all* of the shifts I did last month)..... still, she's handling much better.

What this does tell me, though, is that I can, if I do the same number of shifts, afford to buy my digital camera that I want (this one) - which'd be cool. Of course, it does mean that I won't get it before the Moggie Meet at Donnington. Not unless I'm *very* bad.

Mmm.

Anyway, off to proof read.
