Yeah, I somehow imagined Alaska'd not be wildly democrat friendly, what with Palin being second in line. But seriously, she's nuts, can't they see that?
I'm not convinced about the huge leap forward for LGBT issues with Obama, he's not really waving rainbow banners around, but I don't think there'll be many more huge leaps backward either :)
