Yeah, it goes well with 'my dad collapsing' on my birthday and 'the interview for funding for nursing that I couldn't get*' on my birthday. I was unaware that there was some set of unpleasant things I could collect on my birthday, nor that I was going for the full set.


* It was only *after* the interview that they revealed that even had I have performed in a stellar manner I couldn't actually have received hospital funding because I'd not worked there long enough.
