Passing lightly over the suggestion that old cars are not to some level sentient, which I'm inclined to disagree with, mad though that may sound, what in the name of all that's holy have you got under the bonnet of that thing that's so guaranteed to lunch differentials? I'd keep it Morris, if I were you- I'm a big reactionary when it comes to tinkering with the car's contact with the road, especially when a car handles as well as a Minor does. I'd go for minimising backlash in the diff and driving it like a vicar. Maybe a different ratio diff? I seem to remember there's a lot to choose from. And it's still the same axle in the 1500 MG. Halfshafts used to be the biggest problem with upgrades, not diffs.
