Well, thank you very much. I'm not trying to actually hit the word target for NaNoWriMo. Well, not expecting to. I'd like to, but I'm way behind already (about 5,000 words behind). But I've written 18k words, I think, which isn't too shabby by my standards.
Yeah, concrete is really, in fact, a cause of great destruction when it comes to older houses. I wonder which fabulous new material we'll discover is actually a complete nightmare later...
[I don't mind this question at all, some people probably would :) ]. As it happens, due to some fairly major surgery years ago I can't have kids, that made the decision very simple...
