pyoor_excuse...I've said a provisional yes to the GLBT Union meeting (from my uni, I now get to find out that they're all 18, just came out... and so on*). Yes, this is the first time I've been to a uni-based GLBT group. I can't really afford it, but hey, fuckit. *And* I've asked a few questions about the Studenty studentdom of student meal - at Bath - so I might be doing two things I can't afford this week. Three if you count going to London to collect my bike's engine.
It would be substantially easier if I could drink when I went out. But because bristol's train service is so crap I *think* I might be able to drink at the Bath thing, but going to town and daring to come back after, say, 8pm. Well, then you're just a brazen hussy, clearly, and have to wait until 6am for a morning train, or catch the nightbus. But I'm still *really* unclear on which bus to get to get back here. And I don't really want to have to change busses in some grotty bit of Bristol at 2am.
* not that there's anything wrong with that mind, it's just I'm not up for a large crowd of people still questioning what it means to be out...I just want a nice chilled out evening with dykes (Hey look, a JCB, I think I'll just borrow that a minute, I'm not digging this hole big enough by myself).
