Aug. 20th, 2004 05:35 pmYou know I hate copy protected CDs, not because I can't extract the audio data from them and store it on my PC where it's *easily accessible throughout my house*, but because it's hastle. I've been tidying my music collection up, re-ripping some of the stuff that I ripped years ago that sounds a bit flakey (mmm, early MP3 compressors) and then I noticed I'd never got around to ripping my Let It Be - Naked album.
Hrm, I thought, and stuck it in the drive. And a full half hour later I've sorted out my machine so that it can rip that CD as well. But it's annoying. Look, I own the CD [waves it about] all they've done is make me go "hrm, maybe I won't buy anything on copy protected CD's, instead I'll keep my 15 quid because they are such hastle to have".
So Hurah for the music industry! They've made me not want to bother to buy their products. I hope they're pleased with themselves.
And in other news, I made this, but it's 70 megs.
Okay. That's me for today :-)
