Sep. 7th, 2006 04:50 pmOkay, being a weird one as I am, I've been planning to move to Canada (vaguely specifically Toronto*) for a while. Only I've never been (yeah, yeah... I'm strange, I know).
In a bit over a month I'm heading over to Toronto to stay with a friend, and have begun to ponder what I should see - both from the sad tourist point of view, but also from the getting an idea of whether it's a place I could happily live...
I can hire a car if I need to, but I'm right by a station... erm, so, yeah, if any of you have suggestions for places to visit in your fair city for a strange brit I'd be really greatful...
I'm also after nice (and gay friendly, ideally) coffee / book shops to hang out in / grab lunch at (I'm really not a McDonalds type) when I'm knackered from being a tourist or just to have the odd relaxing day**... So, um, yeah...
*If something can be vaguely specific.
** Especially since I'm demonstrating the fine art of 'living off credit' to do this post-university holiday...
