pyoor_excuseSo, I watched the really excellent final episode of the first season of Dollhouse...
So, I have to admit I'm well enamoured with the show. I find it thought provoking, I love the style and feel of it, I think the actors playing the Actives/Dolls do an excellent job of being blank and, for the most part, different characters with each personality. Some of the stuff they've had, the stuff with Caroline breaking in to the lab I found clunky...
Particularly the 'oh look at this important confidential information just handily displayed on this monitor right here in the lab'; and some of the episodes have been weak. But overall, the show's been excellent, imho.
And so I was assuming it'd be cancelled. As a general rule:
Not great figures + intelligent + I like it = cancellation.
Dead like me

I actually have quite a long list of shows, I'd begun to suspect that they were watching what shows I watched and then cancelling them, just to mock me. But today, having seen the finalé, which, incidentally, I thought was really very well done too. And very interesting. Although I find it odd that Alpha chose to use the same site that his original personality used for kidnap as the location for his base. I'm allowing (in my suspension of disbelief) that it's a subconscious decision. At any rate, I read this today. It's back, granted only for a 13 episode season (longer'n you'd get if it was a UK show).
