So incredibly tired.

It's 5ish pm, and I slept for...uh...7 hours today. Which should be enough. But yesterday I walked in to A&E and there were 2 cardiac arrests which arrived almost simultaneously.

I, for the first time in my life, did CPR. It's fucking knackering. The chap was long gone though...

....and the whole first chunk of the night was like that. I am so tired. My knees hurt. On the plus side I did manage to go swimming yesterday; did 12-14 lengths, I think. Still using the float; still not confident enough to go without.

I might try if I can do widths instead; I don't fancy doing lengths... over the deep end of the pool... without a float. I'm dead chuffed though; twice in one week.

Have you tried doing a backstroke? I have always been a terrible swimmer, but it was the first one I was able to get the hang of. For a long time, it was the only one I was comfortable with. I liked it, because my face was always above water. I don't quite trust floating on my back when I am still, but when you are moving all you need to do is relax and pull with your arms, and you're head will stay up. Kick, and you'll move quicker. I think the offcial way is windmilling your arms one at a time or something, and I usually do that. But you can also do a slower thing where you pull with both arms at once.
